People are Mary's passion!
She is a master at bringing together the right people at the right time.
Mary equates search assignments and candidates as having two bank accounts.
She feels it is possible to make daily deposits into each with tenacity and diligence.
Withdrawals are possible only
• when the client’s requirements are matched with a candidate’s background, experience and personality
• and the assignment matches the candidate’s requirements in terms of opportunity, job description, working conditions and compensation.
Mary primarily specializes in placing Environmental Health and Safety employees in a manufacturing environment. Typical job titles are Environmental Health and Safety Manager, Safety Specialist, Safety Inspector, Compliance Officer, Safety Manager, Safety Administrator, Industrial Hygienist and the like.
Match Maker
It can be very difficult, if not impossible, to make a perfect match. But anyone who has ever known or worked with Mary realizes very quickly she is a whiz at matchmaking.
Mary “reads” people very well, and almost intuitively, is able to match companies and candidates based upon key motivators for making a change.
She feels her matchmaking abilities are because she was born fourth in a family of nine children. At all times, she has been surrounded by people of all ages with different personalities, interests and goals.
“I learned early that humans are complex, endlessly fascinating, and the most valuable element in any enterprise.,” she said.
Mary was the owner/operator of two of the largest independent women’s specialty stores in Arizona. Her career in multi-million dollar fashion merchandising provided Mary endless opportunities to indulge her passion for people.
She negotiated with famous makers of women’s apparel in the showrooms of New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. As a result, her stores carried labels found only in fine department stores.
She recruited and managed talented teams of associates for each store, becoming a major employer in each location.
“Our mission was to provide our customers with quality merchandise and the highest level of service at affordable prices,” Mary said. And she did.
Dedication to quality and service are reasons for Mary’s success. Some of her accomplishments include:
• President, American Business Women’s Association, Valle Verde Chapter 2007-2008
• President, Valle Verde Rotary 2006-2007
